For Immediate Release
Kuala Lumpur, 2 March 2019 – Worldwide Holdings Berhad, a successful Selangor state- linked conglomerate, invites qualified jobseekers to join its group of companies in various fields. Thirty-three positions with over forty vacancies are available for immediate hiring, including in its groundbreaking Waste-to-Energy project in Environment sector.
In December 2018, Worldwide Holdings Berhad announced that it is building a RM500million Waste-to-Energy facility in Jeram, Selangor.
Waste-to-Energy will be part of Worldwide Holdings’ Integrated Solid Waste Management Center (ISWMC), a holistic waste management methodology in waste treatment. ISWMC consists of Material Recovery Facility, Material Recovery Facility for Construction and Demolition Waste, Anaerobic Digester, Research and Development Centre, Composting Plant, and Waste-to-Energy.
Set to be the largest and most modern Waste-to-Energy facility in Malaysia, it is expected to reduce land use for landfill while supporting the Government’s aspiration of increasing renewable energy generation to 20% by year 2025.
Beside vacancies in its Environment sector, Worldwide Holdings offers career opportunities in its two other sectors, Property (sales, project management and engineering) and Medical Device manufacturing, as well as shared services roles.
