To be a leading conglomerate by delivering high quality, reliable and cost-effective products and services.
With a realization that Worldwide Holdings had something special to offer and that we could do
better to keep up with the changing market and remain competitive, we made the decision to undergo a
complete transformation and reinvent ourselves to better align with our goals.
Hence, Worldwide Holdings embarked on a major restructuring exercise in 1989 with a relisting on the
Bursa Malaysia in May of the same year. With injected assets from three companies under the Kumpulan
Perangsang Selangor, Worldwide Holdings was taken under the wings of the investment holding company.
Our historic relisting on Bursa Malaysia also marks the first of many glorious chapters that have
and are yet to be written.
Since then, Worldwide Holdings has been involved in a diverse range of industries, namely property
development and investment, timber trading, infrastructure development, television broadcasting,
solid waste management, overseas investment and investment holding.
In 2008, Worldwide Holding was taken private again and was subsequently delisted from Bursa
Malaysia. Now a wholly owned subsidiary of Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS), Worldwide
Holdings focuses on four main business: property, environment, medical and energy. All these core
businesses are aligned to meet the needs and demands of today’s discerning consumers.
