Worldwide’s primary sustainability impact is through our business activities and a commitment to
sustainable practices is integral to the way that we approach our business and how we operate.
We recognize that as a state-linked company, we have a purpose beyond profit and we aim to strike a
balance on our triple bottom line of People, Profit and Planet, in line with our purpose of Building
Sustainable Tomorrows.
Our sustainability journey is still at an early phase, but we are determined to make a strong positive
impact on the environment and the society. As we continue this journey, we are developing a more
structured approach to how we implement our sustainability initiatives and how we measure and report
their impact.
Moving forward, we will continue to work on integrating sustainability practices into our businesses and
operations, in line with the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (MCGC) while developing
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting framework that is robust and globally benchmarked.
OUR SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY
Under our Strategic Growth Plan, all sectors across our Group will implement Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles in their projects to ensure sustainable growth and business continuity, as well as to support the Federal and State Government’s sustainability agenda.

Worldwide is strongly committed to being a responsible corporate citizen. We recognize that our success is
not just measured by the profits that we generate but by the impact that we have on the environment and the
communities in which we operate.
As a state-owned company, we understand that we have a purpose beyond profit and we carry out a range of
corporate social responsibility (CSR) and social initiatives that allow us to contribute to the betterment
of society and the environment.
Activated under “Worldwide Prihatin” brand name, our CSR initiatives are focused on four main pillars:
Green
We help build a sustainable future by helping to reduce the negative impact on the environment and raising public awareness on environmental preservation through various green initiatives.
Healthy Lifestyle
We are committed to support sports and recreation activities that promote healthy living among the staff, stakeholders and the communities in which it operates in.
Education
We support various educational programmes in schools, colleges and universities to help students with their education needs, as well as various Research and Development projects, believing deeply in the impact of education towards improving lives, reducing poverty and combatting inequality.
Social
We support the underprivileged communities by supporting charitable initiatives through monetary contribution and humanitarian efforts, and through the development of affordable homes under the Selangor State Government’s “Rumah SelangorKu” scheme.
