On 4th March 2021, a signing ceremony of joint venture and shareholders agreement between Worldwide Holdings Berhad, Mudajaya Corporation Berhad and Sumber Jayakita Sdn Bhd had taken place at Teratai Hall, Mercu Worldwide. The objective of the ceremony was to formalize and officiate the collaboration between Worldwide Holdings and Mudajaya Corporation where both parties will collaborate for the purpose of carrying on the business of construction works, including EPCC works, in particular, the power generation sector.
The ceremony which was graced by YB Dato’ Norazmie bin Diron, Selangor State Secretary cum Chairman of Worldwide Holdings as the guest of honor, began with a speech delivered by YBhg Datin Paduka Norazlina Zakaria, Group Chief Executive Officer of Worldwide Holdings who took the opportunity to briefly introduce Worldwide Holdings to the delegates from Mudajaya. She also shared with the audiences the vision and objectives of the collaboration and ended her speech thanking all parties involved in realizing the collaboration. Following the speech by YBhg Datin Paduka Norazlina, YBhg Dato’ Yusli bin Mohamed Yusoff, Chairman of Mudajaya Group Berhad took the stage and delivered a speech which enlightened the audiences with Mudajaya’s experiences in EPCC works and their enthusiasm on getting into this agreement with Worldwide Holdings.
Right after the speech from YBhg Dato’ Yusli, the signing ceremony was completed when the agreement was signed by the signatories from each party – Worldwide Holdings Berhad represented by YBhg Datin Paduka Norazlina Zakaria, Mudajaya Corporation Berhad represented by its Managing Director, Ir. Anthony Teoh, and Sumber Jayakita Sdn Bhd represented by Chief Executive Officer of Mudajaya Group Berhad, Mr. James Wong – witnessed by YB Dato’ Norazmie and YBhg Dato’ Yusli. The ceremony ended with corporate gifts exchange between Worldwide Holdings and Mudajaya Corporation, and presentation of tokens of appreciation to YB Dato’ Norazmie and YBhg Dato’ Yusli.
