SHAH ALAM, 23rd June 2024 - Worldwide Holdings Berhad was proud to sponsor and participate in the Selangor International Race 2024, marking the event’s dynamic return for its second edition. Held in Shah Alam, the event brought together over 1,000 cycling enthusiasts from across the country on an exhilarating 145-kilometre journey through the districts of Petaling, Kuala Selangor, and Gombak.
The race was officially flagged off by His Highness Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, Crown Prince of Selangor, alongside YB Tuan Mohd Najwan Halimi, Selangor EXCO for Youth, Sports & Entrepreneurship, and YBhg. Dato’ Haji Mohd Fauzi Haji Mohd Yatim, Mayor of Shah Alam City Council (MBSA). YBhg. Dato’ Mahmud Abbas, Group CEO of PKNS, also joined as one of the participants.
As a strong advocate of healthy living and community engagement, Worldwide Holdings was honoured to be part of this prestigious event. Our headquarters, Mercu Worldwide, was selected as one of the official water station points for the cyclists, providing essential support and refreshments.
Datin Paduka Norazlina Zakaria, Group Chief Executive Officer of Worldwide Holdings, together with senior management, personally welcomed the cyclists who made a pit stop at Mercu Worldwide, reflecting the company’s continued commitment to supporting local initiatives and promoting wellness among Malaysians.
