WORLDWIDE HOLDINGS BERHAD HOSTS CORPORATE RAYA OPEN HOUSE “KESUMA AIDILFITRI”

Shah Alam, 7th May 2024 – Worldwide Holdings Berhad (WHB), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS), hosted its annual Corporate Raya Open House at the Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam (MBSA) Convention Centre today. The event, themed “Kesuma Aidilfitri,” celebrated the spirit of Hari Raya with over 1,000 guests, including diverse clients, stakeholders, and vendors.

The event was a grand affair, featuring a sumptuous buffet of traditional Malay delicacies. Guests indulged in festive favorites such as lemang, ketupat, rendang, kambing golek, and an array of kuih muih, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Malaysia. Guests were also entertained by a live band performing an eclectic mix of songs, adding to the festive atmosphere. Adding to the festivities, WHB’s newly formed choir group took center stage, enchanting the audience with their renditions of popular Raya melodies.

The occasion was graced by the presence of several distinguished guests, including the Minister of Selangor, Dato’ Seri Amirudin Bin Shari, and the Selangor State Secretary, Dato’ Haris Kasim. Their attendance underscored the significance of the event in fostering strong relationships within the community and the corporate sector.

In her welcoming address, Datin Paduka Norazlina Zakaria, Group Chief Executive Officer of WHB, expressed her gratitude to all attendees. “This celebration is not just about enjoying delicious food and joyous company; it is a testament to the strong bonds we have built with our clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
