JERAM WTE SITE OFFICE OPENING CEREMONY

JERAM, 19th August 2024 - Jeram WTE site office was officially launched by YBhg Datin Paduka Norazlina Zakaria , Group Chief Executive Officer of Worldwide Holdings Berhad. Jeram WTE, currently in the construction phase, is set to become the largest waste-to-energy (WTE) facility in Malaysia. This state-of-the-art facility represents a major leap forward to manage waste sustainably by converting waste into energy.

The team led by Mr Danial Liew, General Manager of Worldwide’s Environment Division also celebrated a significant milestone of achieving 500,000 man-hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI), reflecting the team's dedication to maintaining a safe working environment, prioritizing the well-being of all workers on-site, and adhering to safety procedures throughout the construction of the project.
