PIPP Recognised at the Triple A Islamic Finance Awards 2026

Our CFO, Nasri Mohd Jamal, represented Worldwide Holdings Berhad at the Triple A Islamic Finance Awards 2026 Luncheon on 27 August, where the Pulau Indah Power Plant (PIPP) was recognised for its landmark financing achievement.

The Sukuk Wakalah is the largest power sector financing Malaysia has seen since 2018, and it's enabling us to build out a 1,200MW combined-cycle gas turbine plant that's genuinely moving us toward cleaner energy infrastructure.

This kind of scale doesn't happen without the teams behind it, the PIPP project group, our financial partners, and everyone who worked through the complexities to make it real. It's been a solid demonstration of what structured Islamic finance can do for infrastructure development.
