SHAH ALAM, 19 December 2025 - Group Corporate Communications and Sustainability (GCCS) recently organised a Sustainability Talk on Fabric Recycling in collaboration with Kloth Circularity Malaysia, reinforcing efforts to promote responsible environmental practices within the organisation.
The session featured Ms Sherlina Melissa from Kloth Circularity Malaysia, who delivered an engaging presentation titled “Threads of Change: Exploring Textiles & Clothing Circularity for a Sustainable Future.” Her sharing focused on the environmental impact of textile waste and encouraged practical lifestyle habits such as recycling fabrics and clothing to reduce waste.
The session moved beyond discussion and into action as staff members participated by placing their pre-loved garments into the fabric recycling bin located within the Mercu Worldwide compound. The strong response reflected a shared willingness to practise sustainable habits in everyday life.
This initiative highlights Worldwide Holdings Berhad’s ongoing support for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while fostering greater awareness and collective responsibility towards environmental care within the workplace.
