WORLDWIDE HOLDINGS BERHAD: HSSE X ESG DAY 2025

SHAH ALAM, 14 November 2025 - HSSE x ESG Day 2025 took place on 14 November at Mercu Worldwide, bringing colleagues together for a day centred on health, safety, security, and environmental care. The event was organised through a collaboration between Group Health, Safety, Security & Environmental and Group Corporate Communications & Sustainability.

The programme began with three initiative launches by the GCEO of Worldwide Holdings Berhad, YBhg. Datin Paduka Norazlina Zakaria. These included the ESG System Reward that recognised staff through a point-based approach, the “Dari Rak Ke Hati” campaign which encouraged book donations for selected orphan and asnaf centres, and the year-long Textile Bin Recycle campaign that encouraged staff to contribute used items in support of ESG goals.

Guided by the theme “Secure Today, Sustainable Tomorrow,” the day featured a range of activities designed to raise awareness while keeping the atmosphere engaging and welcoming. Highlights included a mental health session, exhibition booths, health screening, blood donation, an e-waste briefing with a collection point, a textile bin adoption programme, a women’s self-defence demonstration, and a prize-giving session for the winning group of the HSSE in Motion: Brisk Walk challenge. Winners were selected based on the highest step count recorded between 1–9 November via the Strava app. Food trucks added a friendly touch, giving everyone the chance to relax and connect.
