PUCHONG, 17 October 2026 - - Worldwide Holdings Berhad (WHB), in collaboration with the Selangor Department of Environment (JAS) and the Sultan Idris Shah Forestry Education Centre (SISFEC), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), successfully organised the Green X-ploration Expedition on 17 October 2026 in conjunction with the Selangor State-level National Environment Day (HASN) 2026 celebration.
The programme brought together 49 participants, comprising representatives from JAS Selangor and WHB staff, to foster greater awareness of biodiversity, forest conservation and the importance of individual responsibility in protecting the environment.
Led by WHB’s Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Group under the guidance of HSSE Manager, Mr. Mohamad Fadil Saihani, the initiative underscores the Group’s commitment to promoting environmental stewardship and encouraging sustainable practices for the benefit of future generations.
The programme was also attended by Mr. Mohd Faizul Hilmi bin Zulkifli, Deputy Director of Operations Division 1, Selangor Department of Environment, and Gs. Dr. Zulfa Hanan binti Ash’aari, Head of the Department of Environmental Science and Technology at UPM.
Through initiatives such as the Green X-ploration Expedition, WHB continues to advance its environmental sustainability agenda by strengthening strategic partnerships, raising environmental awareness and encouraging collective action towards a greener and more sustainable future.
