WORLDWIDE HOLDINGS BERHAD GCEO VISITS KEY HYDRO ENERGY ASSETS IN BATANG KALI AND KERLING


BATANG KALI, 29 JULY 2026 - In a continuation of leadership engagements across operational sites, Group Chief Executive Officer of Worldwide Holdings Berhad (WHB), En. Ahmad Zaki Ahmad Zainuddin, alongside members of the senior management team, visited the Group’s key hydro energy assets.

The working visit commenced at the Batang Kali Small Hydro Power Plant (SHP), which operates with an installed capacity of 5.1 MW. The delegation then proceeded to the Kerling Lower Scheme SHP, a facility contributing a further 4.5 MW of clean, renewable energy to the national grid.

Beyond reviewing operational performance, the visit offered a valuable opportunity for En. Ahmad Zaki to engage directly with the on-site engineering and operations teams—the core workforce responsible for maintaining continuous efficiency and technical excellence across these plants.
