WORLDWIDE HOLDINGS BERHAD WELCOME A WORKING VISIT FROM SARAWAK STATE AGENCIES & LOCAL AUTHORITIES


SHAH ALAM, 4th November 2025 - En. Danial Liew, acting Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Environment Division, Worldwide Holdings Berhad, shared valuable insights on Worldwide’s sustainable solid waste management initiatives particularly on its flagship environmental innovation, the Waste-to-Energy (WTE) Plant project, which is the largest of its kind in Malaysia during the Working Visit by Sarawak State Agencies and Local Authorities.

The session also featured an informative presentation by Ir. Mohd Shokri Daud, General Manager of Worldwide PMC Sdn Bhd, highlighting the WTE progress and its project management portfolio and activities.

We were honoured to host YBhg. Dato’ Sri Dr. Wan Lizozman Wan Omar, State Financial Secretary of Sarawak, along with delegates from the Economic Planning Unit Sarawak, Bintulu Development Authority, Ministry of Public Health, Housing and Local Government, Natural Resources and Environment Board Sarawak, as well as representatives from local authorities, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), and Worldwide subsidiaries.

The visit served as a meaningful platform for knowledge exchange and also reinforced our shared commitment to sustainability, innovation, and a greener future for all.
